The hotel Almhof is located in Wirl, a part of Galtür in the Tyrolean Paznaun valley in western Austria.
The impressive mountain range of the Silvretta makes a splendid backdrop to the Hotel Almhof, which is situated directly at the valley station of the ski resort of Galtür, the Silvapark. In summer, Wirl is a great starting point for getting to the Bielerhöhe, the highest part of the Silvretta High Alpine Road, as Wirl is the last village at this incredibly panoramic road before it leads up to the High Alps and reaches the Bielerhöhe located on 2,032 metres above sea level
If you want to go on panoramic drives by car or motorbike, on long hikes or mountain bike tours in the mountains of the Silvretta, the Hotel Almhof is definitely a perfect starting point for all of this.
